Support important programs not funded by the state of Idaho!

The Blaine County School District is seeking voter approval for a 2-year, $1.85 million per year supplemental levy to cover the salaries and benefits of staff members running programs for which the state of Idaho does not provide funding, including:

  • Preschool*

  • Full-day kindergarten*

  • Summer school

  • Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)

If passed, the cost will be only $8.53 per year for every $100,000 of assessed, taxable real property.

*The state only pays for half-day kindergarten and the federal government only supports preschool for special ed students.

  • Full-day kindergarten

    Full days can improve children’s academic outcomes, self-confidence, and ability to play well with others

    Students gain academic progress over the summer, rather than lose it
